Krashen developed a second language acquisition theory (SLA). Krashen’s SLA theory has a great many advocates and detractors. Perhaps best known in Language education circles for quotes such as; “Language acquisition does not require extensive use of conscious grammatical rules, and does not require tedious drill”.
