Jigsaw Technique

The Jigsaw Technique is a cooperative learning strategy that involves dividing a class into small groups, where each group member is responsible for learning and then teaching a specific part of a larger topic. Initially, students work in "expert" groups to master their assigned segment. Afterward, they reassemble into "jigsaw" groups, each containing one member from the expert groups, to share and integrate their knowledge. This method promotes active learning, enhances comprehension, and fosters collaboration and communication skills. It encourages students to take ownership of their learning and helps build a deeper understanding of the subject matter through peer teaching.
