Icebreaker Activities
Icebreaker activities are introductory exercises designed to help students get to know each other, build rapport, and create a positive classroom atmosphere. These activities are particularly useful at the beginning of a course or when new groups are formed. In language learning, icebreakers can include simple games, discussions, or interactive tasks that encourage students to use the target language in a relaxed and informal setting. Examples include "Two Truths and a Lie," "Find Someone Who," and name games. Icebreakers help reduce anxiety, foster communication, and set the tone for collaborative learning.
