Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences
Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences posits that individuals have different kinds of intelligences, including linguistic, logical-mathematical, spatial, bodily-kinesthetic, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalistic. In language teaching, recognizing multiple intelligences helps educators tailor instruction to meet diverse learning needs and strengths. For example, using music and rhythm can appeal to musical learners, while group activities and discussions can engage interpersonal learners. By addressing multiple intelligences, teachers can create a more inclusive and effective learning environment.
