ELL (English Language Learner)
An English Language Learner (ELL) is a student who is learning English in addition to their native language. ELLs often receive specialized instruction and support to develop their English proficiency and succeed academically. Programs for ELLs focus on language development, cultural integration, and academic achievement. ELLs may participate in ELD (English Language Development) programs, receive additional language support, and have access to resources that address their specific learning needs.
