CLB (Canadian Language Benchmarks)

The Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) are a set of standards used in Canada to describe the language proficiency of adult immigrants and learners of English as a Second Language (ESL). The CLB framework includes twelve levels of proficiency, organized into three stages: basic, intermediate, and advanced. The benchmarks are used for assessment, curriculum development, and instructional planning, helping educators to tailor their teaching to the needs and abilities of learners.
