Learning Techniques A “learning style” is the method of learning, particular to an individual that is presumed to allow that individual to learn at their best or the easiest for them. With regards to “learning techniques”, these two are similar but separate issues that on the surface would appear to be the same but are not.   Whereas stress is typically concerned with one individual word, intonation is generally concerned with the variation in volume and pitch throughout an entire sentence. Intonation carries the message of a sentence. It's particularly important when questioning or agreeing, disagreeing and confirming statements. Things I wish I'd known before beginning my TESOL course Looking back over the past few months I can say it’s been a learning curve and not just in teaching English. Classroom Management The meaning of classroom management is the skill of organizing and managing a class whilst maintaining a friendly relaxed manner and maintaining discipline.
