How to deal with the difference. How does it function in my life.
What do I hope my students will do according to these problems.
There are three “circles” where I have to deal with these differences;
In a classroom you have to discover and understand; to open up is exciting.
There are differences of opinion, ideas, race, social class, spending your free time.
Home and at school; different work methods and characters.
Different education forms.
In a classroom everybody has to try to accept and not to judge too quickly and ask yourself a question: Where do those differences, conflicts, discrimination etc. come from?
Try to understand why people think differently.
Differences can be exciting in the classroom, school culture, types of education.

What Does Tefl Mean - ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ITTT TEFL-TESOL Courses
The acronym TEFL stands for teaching English as a foreign language. TESOL is teaching English to speakers of other languages. Today, both terms have much the same meaning are generally used interchangeably in the EFL field. In the early days, TEFL was more of a UK-based qualification and TESOL was more of a North American-based qualification. ESL is English as a Second Language, and is usually used when teaching English in an English-speaking environment. Some people argue that TESOL encompasses both EFL and ESL. In reality there is very little difference, if any. As the need for English language training has developed worldwide, the two terms have almost become synonymous. They are both used to describe the field of English language teaching and one of them is stated on... [Read more]

Bilingual Education versus English Only Models
Over the years, many debates have arisen in regards to second language instruction (L2), giving prominence to two main models: English Only versus Bilingual Education. English Only uses solely English as the medium for instruction, whereas Bilingual Education, as its name implies, uses both English and the student’s native language. While there are several aspects to the debate, this paper will briefly cover a certain few: cultural sensitivity, accuracy, and segregation.
Proponents of the English Only model claim that the use of a student’s native language creates a “cycle of native language dependency,” meaning that the student, to some extent, gets “tethered” to his native tongue. Using solely English in the classroom, advocates... [Read more]

Phonetics and TESOL
Phonetics, the study of the sounds of human speech, and in particular “Articulatory Phonetics”, are not commonly taught to native speakers of English, let alone learners of English as a second language. However if the learner is serious with their English and wish to progress to an advanced level, learning phonetics, in particular the International Phonetic Alphabet, would be of immense benefit.
English spelling is often contradictory, devoid of relation to the pronunciation of a word, and lacking in clear patterns. Patterns that do exist are numerous, with a large number of exceptions, and all of this makes it very difficult for the learner of English as a second language to master pronunciation. The International Phonetic Alphabet puts all of the individual... [Read more]
Theories Methods Techniques Of Teaching Suggestopedia - ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ITTT TEFL-TESOL Courses
Also in the 1970s la señal came up with a new methodology called "Suggestopedia". As psychological theory was developing, one of the ideas that came up was something called ?the effective filter?. Basically, the effective filter is a barrier to learning. It's the reasons why we inhibit our learning of a particular language. There are two main elements to the effective filter, two sets of factors, if you like, those are known as internal and external factors. The external factors to learning, the reasons why we have barriers to learning, may be just simple things such as external noise. So, people talking to us while we're trying to learn and so on and so forth. Perhaps more important are these internal factors and the internal factors one of the main things here is our previous... British english vs american English
With English being recognised as the global language of choice, which one is considered the official language?
So just how did American English diverge from British English in the first place? American English roots back to the early colonial days of the late 16th century, were a whole gamut of cultures converged into a single society. In some colonies English wasn’t even a spoken language and in those colonies that did speak English it was quite different from the English we know today. The Elizabethan English of the day consisted of many varieties of regional English dialects. All these different dialects, intermingled with a multitude of cultures formed one big boiling pot, of which over time, a new variant was produced – American English. And... [Read more]

So, there will be some differences between the two, such as writing very often uses less contracted forms and so on, but having said that there are many similarities between the two particular skills. So, many of the considerations that we had for a speaking skills lesson will also apply here to a writing skills lesson. English as a Global Language
In the last few months that I have been traveling, it has become even more apparent to me how important it is to be able to speak English to interact in the world today.
Many of the people that I have been talking with over the last few months have not been native English speakers. And it became very clear to me that if they had not learned English, I would not be able to communicate with them, they have to learn a second language to be able to broaden their opportunities for travel, work, and general communication with people from other countries. As a native English speaker, you take this for granted. And as a result, many native English speakers only speak the one language.
As a result of the Industrial Revolution, the British economic predominance in the... [Read more]
Native English Speaker - ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ TESOL Glossary
In relation to teaching the English language, the term native English speaker is normally used to refer to someone whose first language is English, i.e., they have used English as their main form of communication since birth. In this context, ‘first language’, ‘mother tongue’ and ‘native language’ are terms that can be used to mean the same thing so they are often used interchangeably. If a person grows up in an environment where both parents speak different languages it is possible for them to have two ‘mother tongues’.
Generally, a child will pick up a considerable amount of their first language knowledge before they begin any formal schooling. In contrast, the acquisition of a second language usually requires the aid of some kind of language instruction.
