Teaching different groups can be a difficult task for teachers as some of them enjoys teaching young ones while the others prefer to have lessons with the business people. All levels have one thing in common which is not to use student's native language all the time. Beginners and younger students might need to have some assistance with vocabulary and instructions in their mother language but if they know that teachers can speak their language, their motivations and ambition to learn and study English will decrease since they will wait for teachers to give instructions to them in their language. Business people can have different motivations since some of them are required to speak English in their business while others would like to learn as their interests. It is important for teachers to be well prepared with well-structured plans on the course so that clients will be able to know what they will be learning, which could enhance their motivations. Needs analysis will be needed in order to let the clients and teachers to know what are their needs within the classes. Teachers will be able to know the strength and weaknesses on their students and prepare the class using the analysis. Multilingual and monolingual classes might vary with the course structure but always bare in mind that using as much English to communicate with students in order to get used to the environment to speak in English with the teacher and their classmates.
