Unit 8 discusses future tenses and also provides examples of other tenses that seem to be future tenses, but are not.
This unit provided something that I'm very happy to see. In my current country of residence, \"will vs. going to\" lessons are often taught. They are taught poorly and without any thought given to the tenses. Students are mainly taught by providing a list of single sentences (no background info to know about intent or reason for prediction) and then they are graded with an inaccurate answer key. It's very frustration for me to teach the local teachers and institutions on why what they are doing is wrong. In the past, I've provided them with many pages of information regarding the matter. After reading this unit and seeing how ITTT presents this material, I'm certain I can provide a revised, condensed, and concise page or two to address this ongoing issue the next time I encounter it.
