This unit gives an overview of conditionals and reported speech and their various forms and usages. Conditional sentences contain the word \"if.\" For instance, If I won the lottery, I would buy a castle Conditional sentences have 2 aspects to them, the condition has to be met resulting in a consequence. There are 5 main conditionals and each of them have their own form and usage that helps you to identify them in a sentence. This unit also touched on reported and direct speech and how they differ from one another. A direct speech is one that makes a direct statement/actual speech of something whereas the reported speech tells what the direct statement says, for instance Jane said that she went to the beach.
