in this unit, the use of pronunciation and phonology is important in the productive skill as in speaking. Communication by speaking correctly can help to promote understanding between people. The use of intonation, stress and rhythm in a speech can make a dialogue interesting and will engage listeners interestingly. This seems to happen in radio broadcasting. If the intonation is flat, I think audience will not want to listen to radio broadcasts or sometimes event TV broadcasts. The application of such can also be in drama or reading competitions. Reading due to good pronunciation and phonology can make a coloured pictures with words storybooks come alive!
