During this unit it was discussed why a lesson plan is important especially for new (inexperienced) teachers, what should be introduced into a lesson plan as well as examples of how a lesson plan can look and its content. The unit also explains the functions of a lesson plan; an aid to planning, a working document and a record.
A lesson plan should be kept simple, structured, flexible and it should flow smoothly. It is very important for the teacher to have a clear guide as to what to achieve and how one will follow it, there are many different aspects on should include in the lesson. The task sheet really helped a lot this time - just to get the feel of a structured lesson plan.
