This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit went over the productive skills students use when learning a language. These skills are the skills of speaking and writing. We learn that there are two different types of activities to help create a proper environment for the use of these skills. There are the accuracy activities and the fluency activities. The accuracy activity focuses on producing correct language output and is usually controlled by the teacher. Where as the fluency activity is more focused on letting students be creative and experimental with the language. There are also levels in how controlled an activity is and that usually causes the activity to fall under the accuracy activity or the fluency activity.
