In this unit I have learn't the different methods used in planning and teaching an ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) lesson. I have discovered that the Present, Practice and Production is one of the most valuable methods in teaching an ESA lesson. I have also learn't about the many different activities used for each stage of teaching as well as some levels in which they are used. I also learn't that it is important for the students to correct themselves or each other before the teacher corrects the student as this allows for the student to think about the language skill and helps them gain understanding. A teacher should ALWAYS give feedback/correct a student in a positive manner.
