It was helpful for language teaching to be divided into parts: vocabulary, grammar, and function. This lesson also breaks down the four aspects of language learning that are the most essential to the students: exposure, understanding the meaning, comprehensive of how the language is constructed, and the ability to practice producing the language, with correct pronunciation. The lesson also makes it clear that when teaching language function it is more useful to use the boomerang or patchwork ESA model, because in these lessons it's great to have a lot of time to activate the lesson in different ways.
