Today i learnt about speaking, writing and games. Speaking and writing are called productive skills and are equally as important as each other.I learnt that teachers shouldn't neglect writing skills and palm them off as homework to often as sometimes students fail to do their homework.I learnt about accuracy and fluency activities and the difference between the two.I learnt some valuable speaking in classes activities and why sometimes students do not like to speak and ways to encourage them. I learnt some guidelines to a free creative activity lesson; what u should do before hand, during and after. Next i learned writing skills including spelling, punctuation, layout and creative writing. This was followed by a typical lesson in reference to a writing lesson. Games was the final item i learnt about and i learnt why they are valuable, what situations are best to use them in and some great examples of common games to use within a classroom.
