Although some theorists suggest that lesson planning isn't a good idea, I believe as an inexperienced teacher, I wouldn't be able to conduct a lesson without preparing a lesson plan. Unit 9 is about lesson planning, which I believe is quite important. I found the sample lesson plan to be very helpful in order to make my own lesson plan. The unit also covered the importance of writing a lesson plan which include 1. Creating a record of what the class has covered, 2. It acts as a document to refer to during the lesson, and most importantly, 3. It helps with the entire planning process. Lesson planning can also very from teacher to teacher, teacher to student, and a student working alone. The most important principle of lesson planning is to keep it simple and be open to adaption!
