This unit, focusing on the productive skills, speaking and writing was the continuation of the previous lesson on the receptive skills, listening and reading. This unit seemed to focus even more, however, on lesson plans and how to effectively teach productive skills in the classroom. It also focused much more on the effective use of games in the classroom as an integral part of teaching. I don't play games and am not familiar with a lot of them except the most popular ones, so this unit made me realize that in order to have fun and effective activities in the classroom, I really need to dust off the old childhood games and learn some new ones as well.
