This unit was on the different types of learners that a teacher can encounter. These include beginners, individuals, young learners, learners of Business English, mono- and multilingual classes. For each group, a profil was conducted. It included the level of English that particular type of learner may have, and the ways to tackle the particular type of teaching required. I found especially interesting the things to keep in mind when teaching business people, such as conducting a needs analysis in order to clarify the learner's aims. I also liked the idea of integrating their own mails, phone calls etc. from work in the lesson, as this creates a very realistic setting.
