This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
I anticipated that this unit would be fairly easy considering English is my native language, however this test was challenging. In this unit on Present Tenses I learned that there are four forms of the present tense, present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. Then, within each one of the four types of present tense there are three styles of formation which are affirmative sentence, negative sentence, and question form. Not only did I learn about the structure of the present tenses and how to form each one, but also I learned about the several conditions of usage for each present tense. An added bonus which really helped me was the examples of teaching ideas and activities to use in the classroom. This portion of the chapter and the video both truly helped to reinforce what I had read.
