This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 4 is about the four present tenses in the English language. It talks about the simple present tense, the present continuous, present perfect and the present perfect continuous. What I learned from this section is now how to really define the simple present tense and the present continuous tense. For example, I know there is a difference between \"I study everything\" and \"I'm studying right now\", but I wasn't able to really give good reasons on why they are different. Another would be the last two, \"I have watched TV today\" and \"I have been watching TV today\". As a native English speaker, we know the difference, but we don't know why. Now I understand that \"I have watched TV today\" means that something has happened in the past, but I'm talking about it in the present. \"I have been watching TV today\" means that it has happened in the past and will probably continue to happen.
