In Unit 8, I learned about productive skills: Speaking and writing. When we communicate there are two factors that we need to take in consideration which are: Accuracy and fluency. Both factors are equally important. Accuracy is concentrated on producing the correct language, meanwhile; fluency focuses on the students to experiment and be creative with the language. There are many speaking activities that can be used in the classroom, example: Controlled activities, guided activities, creative communication. It?s always very important to encourage students to speak despite of many aspects that may block them from doing so. When writing we have a few factors to be considered, for example: Handwriting, spelling, pronunciation and creative writing.
