This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit 16 covered Conditionals and Reported Speech. I don't ever remember learning this in school so this was definitely something new for me. I think it was pretty easy to understand and with the examples given in this unit, it seems I could teach this unit with confidence. There are five different types of conditionals; zero, first, second, third, fourth and mixed. It took me some time to understand the forms because it looks pretty similar, but once I got the hang of it, it made sense. Reporting speech is something we use on a regular basis. For example, when a friend asks us what the other friend said, then we use the direct speech form. If we follow the instructions on conditionals and reported speech, then it may not be as difficult as it seems.
