This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit covered modal auxiliary verbs, the passive voice, and phrasal verbs and relative clauses. Model auxiliary verbs are used to express a number of differing ideas such as, obligation, possibility, permission, ability, and advice. When using the passive voice, the object of an active verb becomes the subject of the passive verb. While the active and passive voice express the same things, the focus in the active voice is on the agent, whereas the focus in the passive voice is on the subject. A relative clause is a dependent clause that modifies the noun. Phrasal verbs consist of verb plus one or two particles.
