This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Unit six taught me about the different forms past sentences can take. It was a little difficult because it is similar to the present sentences. For students, I know it is very difficult to learn the irregular past forms of verbs, because there is no secret tip, trick or hint. It just has to be memorized. Therefore, I loved the idea of making a memory match card game for students to play with. I wonder if they could even use those cards to play Go Fish ti promote speaking during the activity as well! It might also be effective to play a hangman game with the present word written atop of the 'man' as a hint. Fill in the blank sentence sheets would also be good practice I think because then students can correct each others answers afterwards. Exposure is the only way to remember these I believe.
