In this section, I learned about receptive skills which are reading and listening. I learned the outline of a typical receptive skills outline in patchwork. The unit covered topics that you use while teaching a class. I learned that it's important to choose a topic not only from your interest but from other students interest because it is the students who are learning. This will allow full participation in a class setting. I learned that it's important to create interest in the class room and make sure that everyone is participating. The unit gave some example worksheets of comparison which helped me see what a typical lesson would look like and how to organize it.
