In this unit, many important topics are covered.
1. Methodologies: several different teaching methods are introduced and explained in the unit. Each one of them has its own advantages and disadvantages. Teachers should choose the teaching methods based on students' English levels and needs.
2. The \"ESA\" - Engage, Study and Activate method is thoroughly discussed. I find the ideas and examples for each phase extremely helpful. This section is very important for teachers to plan their classes. I learned a lot of fun activities within each teaching phase.
3. Correction techniques: I think this section is also very helpful. It can be very difficult for teachers to know exactly what to correct and when to correct. I learned that as a teacher, we should only correct students' mistakes when they are relevant. We don't want to correct every single mistake that a student makes. Teachers should also not jump into a student's speech to do corrections.
