As a teacher there might be different groups you will encounter, this unit gave a little insight on how to deal with different groups. When it comes to teaching beginners i've learnt to avoid using the students mother tongue. It is important to create an encouraging atmosphere, for that it is important not to correct every mistake a student might make. The same is with teaching children even when giving instructions use English. Something to consider when teaching a group of children is not to put individual children on the spot, this could discourage them or even frighten them to say things in future exercices and it doesn't create the supportive atmosphere that a child needs.
