This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Even though These phrasal verbs come to me naturally, with regards to the meaning and how to use them, I have never thought how difficult it is to teach them. I have had a hard time trying to come up with ways to explain when can they be separated and when can't they be separated to only draw blanks. My mistake was that i did not paid attention the adverbs, nouns and pronouns as a whole. I would just try to explain it from my own experience, which would lead me nowhere but confusing to my own explanation. With this break down of the grammar it will definitely be much easier for me to add it into the lesson and have my students practice with it even more. It is the same with the active and passive voice, I had no idea all the interpretations that can be yielded from the modal verbs, I just naturally knew it. I will surely use this chapter many times to master it even further.
