I have learnt some of the different methods and techniques used in teaching.I have learnt that no methodology is best but we can take some ideas from some and apply them.I learn that we will be using the ESA method when learning this unit.I have learnt what elicitation is and that it is an important part of the teaching process.I have learnt what engage, study and activate mean in relation to teaching. I have learnt what a straight arrow, patchwork and boomerang lesson plan are. I have seen many examples of how the ESA can be used in a lesson. I have learnt about giving a class or student feedback and some suggestions in correcting students.There have been suggestions as the best ways to write lesson plans and do correct marking.
