This unit gives an overview on modals, phrasal verbs, and passive voice and how modals are used to express different ideas such as obligation, possibility, permission, ability and advice. The modals that are used to express those different ideas are can, could many, might, shall, should, will, would, must, have to, have got to, need to, needn't to and ought to. These words placed in a sentence will tell whether it happened, may have happened, etc. This unit also talks about active and passive voices in a sentence and how to recognize it in the content of a sentence. Being that I am a native English speaker, I was very familiar with and recognized the role that phrasal verbs play in a sentence.
