This unit concerned different instances of conditional speech and the rules that govern them. The first of the were the zero (if/when and present simple+present simple), first (if and present simple with will), second (If and past simple with would/could/might), third (if and past perfect with would have, could have, might have), and mixed If and past perfect with would) conditional tenses. The second part concerned how reported speech transitions (or doesn't) from it's original format (ie. \"John says 'I'm going to go to the amusement park'\" to \"John said that he's going to go to the amusement park or \"Mary says 'I never liked Tom Cruise'\" to \"Mary says that she never liked Tom Cruise).
