Many people warn that classroom management is one of the hard parts of teaching. However, now I see that with the proper ideas and management, bad behavior can be controlled and the students' attention can be maintained without problems. I learned how the organization of the desks can affect a class and even how I should use eye contact and gestures. I learned that constantly writing on the board is bad as it can allow the students to get distracted so I should write things on the board before class or distract the students with an individual or group activity while I write so that they aren't just staring at my back the whole time.
