The basis of Unit 2 covered the definitions and explanations of numerous parts of speech, which included subjects such as: Nouns, Adjectives, Articles, Verbs, Adverbs, Gerunds, Pronouns, Prepositions and Conjunctions. There were often distinct rules in terms of how to use different parts of speech properly when it came to correct sentence structure, word additions & usages, etc. However, there were special cases where some parts of speech did not have any rules in terms of how to carry out word formations, sentence structures, etc. One particular example of a \"no rule\" incident involved discovering that most common verbs that are irregular have no rules to their formation of their base form, their past simple, past participle, and present participle.
