This unit has been the most helpful unit (in my opinion) this far. I found this unit helpful and engaging because it has provided practical examples to use in the classroom throughout the entire unit. As I was reading the various teaching methods explained in the beginning of the chapter, I was thinking that a \"mixed methods\" approach would suit me best. I was therefore pleased to learn about the ESA (Engage Study Activate) methods. As a person who has experience both learning a foreign language and teaching English to foreign language speakers, I agree with this style of teaching and I find it stimulating as a student who interested in improving my teaching skills. I found the activities for engaging learning extermely helpful and I can't wait to apply some of them in the classroom. I was also pleased to be reminded of the importance of constructive crticism and encouraging the students through correction as opposed to discouraging them.
