This unit provides a wide range of teaching techniques when teaching particular groups such as young learners, individuals, business English and the differences in teaching monolingual and multilingual classes. On a personal note, I have gained a lot from studying this chapter and watching the video as it clearly explains how the teacher should go about teaching different groups and what to be careful of during the lesson. It will be particularly important for me to know the level of the students and their requirements to be able to plan my lessons effectively whilst preparing various activities to cover the crucial aspects while taking care that the students will not be bored or will not lack motivation during the lesson.
