For this lesson, we watched two different videos. During the first video, the ESL teacher was less effective because he seemed irritated with the students, began reading during class time, wouldn't answer one student's question about the difference between could and can, repeatedly said that the material was really easy without giving a coherent explanation, etc. During the second video, we were given a better example because the teacher smiled, began study with a game that engaged the student's attention, learned each student's name and involved everyone equally, participated and gave the students a concrete example of an imaginary animal and was overall more patient and enthusiastic.
