This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit, I learned how many different types of future tense there are. As a native speaker, I don't really think much about the differences between something like \"I will go\" and \"I am going.\" Now I have a better idea of how to explain it to non-native speakers. For instance, \"I am going\" refers to something that was already planned before the time of speaking, whereas \"I will go\" is more like something that was decided spontaneously at the time of speaking. A good activity to use with the students for these various future tenses is fortune-telling role play or pair work involving people comparing schedules in their planners and trying to schedule an appointment with each other.
