Evaluation for both teachers and students are important. Using the diagnostic test, we can do a teacher's evaluation and help teacher to design the next class for students more appropriate. What I have learned from this unit is that there are several types of test that can be held in class for students benefit. They are placement test which is held before the EFL course, progress test to know the learning progress of the students, achievement test that can be held every semester or at the end of a level, and practice test that is a preparation test used for an external test. As for the external test such as TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC are widely used and more common than the rest.
