This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit covered both conditional sentences and the difference between direct and reported speech. First, the unit discussed the different kinds of conditional sentences one may create in English. Namely, there are zero, first, second, third, and mixed conditional sentences. The unit then hints that students might have problems with the second conditional, as well as distinguishing between certain types of conditionals. Next, was reported speech, which is when someone else describes what someone else had said to them. The lesson discussed the way in which tenses usually change when switching between direct and reported speech, as well as how those rules are not concrete.
