The unit at hand focused on how a teacher should manage a class. Theories, methods and techniques are provided for each individual aspect. I learnt about the arrangement of the student`s seats, what is appropriate and what is not useful in managing student`s behavioural problems, how a teacher can use body language to reduce their own unneeded talking time while at the same time maximizing the student`s talking time, the pros and cons of each type of student`s pairing/grouping, and a whole lot of tips on how to be a more effective teacher and which mistakes to avoid (for example, how to minimize wasting a lot of lesson time while writing down on the board).
