In this unit, I learned how to different the difference of past tenses such as the past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. To abe able to dictate the tense of a sentence first you have to focus on the structure rather than its usage because the structure helps dictates which tense it is categorized.
I also learned that the best ways to teach past tense are by teamwork, using picture card in groups or story telling. For this type of lesson, we should not use a worksheet activities because you want the students to participate and building sentences and improve their fleuncy.
