The content covers many different factors that should be taken into account when managing a class. Starting with gesturing, the unit covers many different ways in which gesturing can be beneficial but also in some cases inappropriate. The unit then covers a variety of ways in which students can learn, as a class, in groups, in pairs or individually. I found the examples and pros and cons list regarding this aspect of managing a class helpful and insightful. The course also covers the other movements of the teacher, when it is good to stand and when to sit. I also found this helpful as I found it clarified some of my previous misconceptions. I also particularly liked the examples of how to build rapport with students. Overall I with this course, I am really impressed with the examples it gives. It alleviates some of mu concerns and I am sure will be very useful when I become a TEFL teacher.
