The productive skills, speaking and writing, are both ways in which we communicate. Our reasons for this can be communicative purpose, saying something, listening to something and having an interest in what?s being said. There are two equally important types of activity for this area, Accuracy and Fluency activities. Both can be used but at different stages of a lesson. This unit also covers more specific types of activity for each productive skill and typical ESA lesson structures that can be used. I also learnt here that writing is an area to focus on equally and not be (even if accidental) neglected in order to reduce quiet time.
