This unit covers potential problem situations in an English language classroom and tips/techniques on how to work through them. I have learned techniques for establishing rapport and for employing class warmers that can be used for both new and existing groups of EFL learners. Additionally, I have learned how to deal with a class of EFL students at varying levels of the language as well as how to apply techniques used for successful large classes. Lastly, I have learned how to minimize the use of native language in the classroom, how to utilize ideas to encourage reluctant students, and how to overcome difficulties with listening texts.
