The ESA concept covered in this chapter details the stages of an organized and effective class session in order to teach lessons that are both engaging and effectively build upon what the students already know. The content was interesting and it reminds me of high school so I understand the pattern. I think that the examples for activities will be very helpful and I'm already wondering how I could add or adjust those if need be for my own lessons, especially since certain activities, like Hangman or word puzzles, might not suit a class of adult learners as well as they would children. The consequences plan in the engage section seems very fun and I look forward to trying it out.
