A classroom may come with helpful equipment such as boards, interactive white boards, overhead projector, DVD player, etc. These should be used to benefit the learning of the students. Whether or not your are provided with teaching equipment, you will always be able to include teaching aids in your lessons. You can buy or create worksheets and flashcards, use your smartphone to create videos, and find or draw visual aids. I think that the most important part is to use a variety of equipment and aids to keep students engaged and prevent your lessons from becoming too predictable, as discussed in an earlier lesson. If access to computers and the internet is available, this lesson demonstrates the many resources available to you to supplement your lessons and reduce teacher talk time.
