Unit 9 discussed what I feel to be an important aspect to teaching: lesson planning. I was particularly excited for learning about lesson planning: the do's and don'ts, how to create one, and what should be included. I greatly appreciated the sample outline of the lesson plan, as it showed me the basics of how a lesson plan should look. And I especially appreciated the blank outline, I will definitely be printing them out to aid in my lesson planning. Although I do feel that the reading material and sample lesson plan was sufficient, I do wish that there was video material for a bit more of visual information. Overall, I feel a greater sense of confidence in being able to complete a successful lesson plan.
