Classroom mangement is solely based on the mutual respect of teacher and student. I have found in my own classroom that coming from a place of respect and dignity instead of disagreement and hostility will always have you on the right side of teaching. Having high expectations of each student no matter what the age will elevate students who wouldn't believe otherwise that they can achieve success. Believing in the students even when they are having a bad day sets the precedent that they can be successful and they can learn no matter what and you are there to help them. This was an amazing unit and I enjoyed a lot.
